Loving Jesus.

Connecting Hearts.

Our mission is to inspire families to grow in faith together through engaging, faith-based educational resources. We believe in the power of Scripture to shape hearts, minds and futures. It is God who draws families closer to Him and to one another, and our prayer is that what we make becomes a small instrument in His hands.

Where it all began

We’re Grant and Janine, homeschooling parents of four from Cape Town, South Africa. A few years ago we set out to build our family on God’s truth: to know each of our children as He made them, to understand the world He has placed us in, and to let His authority shape how we work, how we play and how we treat one another.

Teaching our children at home gave us a daily rhythm of planting God’s truth in them while they’re young, and it has been life-giving for our home and for the community around us. ABC with Jesus: Letters from God grew out of that rhythm, and it became our first step into all that God has called us to do through Favor.

Why Loving Jesus comes first

The fullness and meaning in every relationship we have, can only be fully known in Christ. That’s why Loving Jesus comes first. It is the first call on every life, and everything else grows out of it.

Favor is for everyone

Connecting hearts is the response to loving Jesus. For us, it means going out to people, sharing what God has given us and walking alongside others as disciples who make disciples, trusting the Holy Spirit to do the work only He can do.

That’s why everything we make is designed to be modular. The books and the tote work on their own or together, and our market stand packs down and sets up wherever people gather. We work the same way, moving between different spaces and different people, and making ourselves available wherever we’re invited. Every piece is made with care, because what we make is meant to honour the Lord.

That has taken us to markets in different towns, and we’ve grown through every conversation. Here in South Africa we’ve found a real thirst for truth, and it isn’t limited to one kind of family or one kind of church. Favor is for everyone.
